Happy New Year! Say it with Sweat!



First off, I really want to thank you all for going through this journey with me. I have good days and bad days (and interesting days), and so do you. My passion is to create awareness and bring simplicity to the fitness world so we understand how we can change our health and our bodies if we try. And so I am grateful that people are following, reading, and actually making changes in their lives.

I wanted to highlight the photo above really quick. I have been doing headstands, but not handstands (handstands are a lot harder), but I am so excited I am getting into a handstand! It is not easy, but it is worth it to see how my body has grown. So my message to you for this new year is "Take some risks". It usually leads to growth. Nothing worth having is automatic so you will have to work hard, but the rewards are great.


So... since everyone is making resolutions (which means the gym will be full for the first couple of weeks), I want to challenge you just a bit more to put your money where your mouth is. TribeSports is hosting a challenge on Twitter and Instagram called Say it with Sweat. What you should do is put up a picture of yourself working out, tag @tribesports and @eightsnweights, and tag it #SayItWithSweat. Let's see if you are living up to your resolutions!
