Who is behind the blog?: My name is Suzanne. I am a Nigerian with a passion for fitness and a lot to say about it. A few years ago, I really started taking my body seriously, setting fitness goals, eating better, and getting involved in various exercise programs. Now, I can honestly say I enjoy working out and eating right, and I am stronger and more flexible than I have ever been (though I still have a long way to go). These are all testaments to the fact that our bodies thank us for the good work we put in. Now, I just want to help others get fitness-aware and achieve their goals too. Do not be afraid to try. You can totally do it!

What exactly is Eights & Weights all about?: Eights and Weights is a blog focusing on health, wellness, and fitness for everyone, but most especially the average African, both at home and across the globe. The purpose of the blog is to provide the right tools to break down the complex fitness rules, and apply them to daily living. Our motto? You only have one body, so why not treat it well so you can be proud to be in it for years to come. Do not hesitate to send in your questions, suggestions, comments, and concerns!
