I know folks are pretty skeptical when it comes to social networks, but they have been nothing but kind to me. They let me connect with people across different countries and continents that are as passionate about working out as I am. One of those people is Terroll Lewis, who I found on Instagram.
Terroll is the founder of the Block Workout, which is an intense but affordable workout program that focuses on getting people to push their bodies even when they cannot afford a traditional gym. He started the program in the UK as a means to do something positive with his life, and now it's spreading across the UK.
Beyond just working out, he does all sorts of crazy stunts (like the one above) that impress me a lot. That kind of strength takes hard work and dedication. For me, it's proof that we can all get stronger too.
If you are in London, and are looking for an affordable personal trainer, this is a great opportunity to connect with one. He offers public training sessions for a suggested donation of 1 GBP in Brockwell Park in the Brixton area of London on Saturdays from 10:30am to 2pm. For more details on his private training sessions, and the Block Workout philosophy, please visit his website at BlockWorkout.co.uk.
I would try the public session if I were you. What do you have to lose?
Cheers Eights & Weights!
