So I’m sure you’ve been wondering what our next challenge is. In March, we had the squats (I hear your ‘Lord, help me’ cries). In April, we had the various diet challenges that changed each week. That was kind of tough. Next month, we will be focusing on racking up the miles. And no, I don’t mean on our cars.
You know how important cardio is to keep the heart healthy and burn off calories. A lot of folks don’t get enough cardio in because they eat much more than they burn. Our aim this month is to get about 50 miles spread out throughout the month.
- Get in 50 miles throughout the month of May.
- Your miles can be accumulated walking or running, but not doing everyday errands. This means that you have to dedicate time to getting these 50 miles in as EXERCISE, not just walking around at work.
- If you post up pictures of your workouts on Twitter or Instagram and tag #eightsandweights and/or #maymileagechallenge, at the end of the month, we will randomly select a winner who has successfully completed and documented the 50 miles to receive a fitness DVD. The DVD will be announced later in the month.
